MURSL Referee Evaluation Form

In effort to provide some feedback to the Rochester Referee Unit and our Assignor, we've provided this form for League Coaches to use in order to evaluate the services the Referees assigned to officiate their games are providing.
We ask that for every game, each Head Coach take a moment to fill out this simple evaluation.
We understand the subjective nature of data collected in this fashion. We also understand that with 2 coaches submitting reports for each game, the reports are liable to be night and day different.
Please evaluate the performance of game officials based on their performance itself, and not on the final score of the game. Ideally we should see 2 reports from each game that reflect the officials' true performance.

Please take a moment prior to the start of the game to talk to game officials. Especially the young ones. Ensure they understand our rules. Encourage them in their efforts and support the Zero Tolerance Policy on your sideline.

Using the simple rating system of 1-4 with ONE BEING EXCELLENT and FOUR BEING TERRIBLE, please rate the performance of the officials assigned to this game. Please keep in mind the age of the official. Many are young and in their first years working as Referees. *

Leave any FIRST HAND details that you feel may be pertinent. No HEARSAY. Do not leave negative details regarding a young referee if he/she could have been intimidated at this game by the actions of coaches, players, parents and/or spectators. *
